Under the Land Drainage Act 1991 Schedule 1, membership of the Board is drawn from occupiers of agricultural/horticultural land in excess of 4 hectares within the North Level boundary together with representatives being appointed by relevant district councils. The North Level District Internal Drainage Board consists of 14 elected members, and 15 appointed members.
