Hundreds Pumping Station

Constructed in 1988 as a booster station, designed to cater for 822 hectares of predominantly agricultural land. The station consists of 2 No. 600mm submersible pumps discharging into the Old South Eau drain. Adjacent to the pumping station is a electrically operated tilting gate allowing water to be retained and discharged by gravity during low flow conditions. The total capacity of the station being 88T/min or 1.50 cumecs.
