Drainage rates become due with effect from the 1 April to the 31 March of any year. The demand, unlike an invoice, is a demand for payment due and is issued early in the year. Ratepayers can then pay either cheque, postal order, post to the Board’s office, in person at the Board’s office, by bank giro credit at the bank, or Direct Debit on an annual basis.
